EU Cookie Law Compliance
As of 2002 the EU has a specific directive regarding the usage of cookies. These laws were amended in 2009. As of May 2011 websites must secure explicit consent from their users in order to deploy and use cookies.
Your SimpleHelp server may use cookies but will only do so where necessary in order to provide a service requested by the user (for example, if cookies are deployed in order to facilitate a secure user login sequence). By EU law, using cookies in this case where a user is explicitly requesting a service does not require consent.
