Grouping Remote Access Services in Version 3.12 and Below
Remote Access Services can be grouped together in the Technician Console. These groups of services are called Machine Groups. In versions of SimpleHelp up to and including 3.12, any machine groups must be specified in the name of the Remote Access Service. When the service registers with the server it will notify the server of its name and any groups it should be located in.
To do this, simply use forward slashes in the name of SimpleGateway services when configuring them. For example, to place a Remote Access Service called Database Server in a group called Servers use the following name:

To create sub-groups just use additional forward slashes, for example:
